The eight odd participles

hecho, dicho, visto…

done, said, seen…· tap the form for the whole table

Say these out loud

Why it works

Most participles are regular: hablado, comido, salido.

Eight common ones are not: hecho, dicho, visto, puesto, vuelto, escrito, abierto, roto.

They never change for person. Only haber moves: he hecho, has hecho, ha hecho.

Why not hacido

he hacido el despliegue

(says nothing in Spanish)

Does not exist. The regular ending is the trap here, not another tense.
