What people do here

se cena tarde

people eat late· tap the form for the whole table

Say these out loud

Why it works

Se + the él form says people in general, with nobody named.

Se dice que, se puede, se tarda, aquí se trabaja así.

English uses you or they for this. Spanish uses se.

Why not la gente cena

la gente cena muy tarde aquí

people eat very late here

Fine, but se cena is shorter and is what signs and locals use.
